Celebrating the conclusion of a life well spent will always be bitter-sweet. Today Mayor Bernard Wagner on behalf of the Belize City Council attended the state funeral of Belize's first Governor General, Dame Minita Gordon to pay our collective respects. We are all honored to have lived in the historical era of her service and we carry on her legacy in our own efforts to serve the people of Belize City. May her soul Rest in Peace.
