Our meet the council initiative continues as young and curious minds filled City Hall this afternoon! Mayor Bernard Wagner, Deputy Oscar Arnold and the councilors hosted the Standard 3 class of Our Lady of the Way RC School. Our eager students had many questions in hand and the council members left no question unanswered. Our visitors also expertly recited their school’s mission statement, vision statement and motto.

In addition to sharing some childhood stories, the mayor and councilors took this opportunity to highlight the importance of respect, persistence and self-confidence as they work to achieve their dreams. The session concluded with lunch and entertainment for the kids. We cannot express enough what a joy it was to spend this afternoon with you all. This visit was just another reminder of how much potential our Belizean youths possess and we are excited to see all our future leaders will accomplish!
