The Belize City Accelerator Program continues as our 3rd and 4th cohorts receive their program certificates and start up contributions from Mayor Bernard Wagner and Councillor Edmund Kwan, with responsibility for local economic development and small businesses.
With significant support from Axiory Global Limited and BELTRAIDE, the members of these cohorts are being provided with the necessary trainings and tools they need to lead profitable and sustainable businesses in the Belize City community.
Since the program’s launch in 2020, the Belize City Accelerator Program has proven to be consistent and resolute in its goal to empower Belize City residents, strengthen our economy and create a society built on sustainable development as outlined in both our 2018 and 2021 manifestos. Of the first set of businesses established in 2020 through BCAP, a remarkable 82% of those businesses are still thriving today. To date, the program has assisted over 40 micro enterprises and continues to build on our relationships with these businesses.
We look forward to continuing to empower Belize City residents with great business ideas and remain committed to fueling the entrepreneurship spirit!
