The Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF) has selected Deputy Mayor Allan Pollard Jr. to serve as an official steering committee member of the Commonwealth Youth for Sustainable Urbanization Network.
The goal of this new network is to empower Commonwealth youth to support, contribute to, and advocate for sustainable urbanization in the Commonwealth and to look at ways in which cities and human settlements can better reflect the needs of youth.
Deputy Mayor Pollard serves on this steering committee alongside  youth leaders representing other countries like Malaysia, Cameroon, Cyprus, India, Canada, United States of America, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
