At the invitation of Mayor Marvin Rees of Bristol, Mayor Bernard Wagner participated today in a virtual conference  hosted by the Commonwealth Local Government Forum, World Economic Forum and ODI leading up to the 2022 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM)!
This meeting focused on investing in cities across the Commonwealth to address the climate crises and sustainable urbanization. In addition to Mayor Wagner, participants of the conference included other city and national government representatives and finance experts from across the Commonwealth such as  Hon. Gatabazi Jean Marie Vianney (Minister of Local Government, Rwanda),  Greg Clark CBE (Chair of UK Cities Climate Investment Commission), Elleanor Robins (Senior Investment Officer and Global Cities Lead, International Finance Corporation) and more.
