Belize City Autism Walk 2025

Sat, 26th April 2025

Today, the Belize City Council proudly participated in and sponsored the 2025 Belize City Autism Walk — a significant event led by Autism Belize dedicated to promoting awareness, inclusion, and solidarity with the autism community.

Deputy Mayor Eluide Miller, along with Councillors Kaya Cattouse, Dorian Usher, Malcolm Nunez, members of the Belize City Youth Shadow Council, and the Child Advisory Body Belize City, represented the Council as they joined families, advocates, and community members in this important initiative.

As one of this year’s sponsors, the Belize City Council remains firmly committed to fostering a city where diversity is embraced and where every individual, regardless of ability, is empowered to thrive. We recognize the vital importance of creating inclusive spaces and supporting initiatives that champion acceptance, understanding, and equal opportunity for all.

The strong turnout and spirited energy at today’s walk serve as a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated and reaffirmed our commitment to stand with the community as we continue working toward a more inclusive, compassionate, and united Belize City.

Together, through awareness, advocacy, and action, we can make a lasting difference. Let us keep walking forward together.
