The Belize City Council is proud to announce the launch of our second Youth Connect Student Hub, now open at the Hope Resource Center on Central American Boulevard!
This initiative builds on the success of our flagship hub at City Hall and delivers on our 2024–2027 manifesto commitment to expand safe, supportive, and well-equipped after-school spaces across Belize City. 📚💻
The new hub will serve students from Pickstock, Freetown, Lake Independence, and surrounding communities, providing access to:
✅ Homework help & tutoring
✅ Internet, computers, printing, and study tools
✅ Mentorship & youth development
✅ Career guidance & resume support
This project is made possible through the Council’s strategic partnership with Change Agent Builders, with support from Hon. Anthony Mahler and the Pickstock Constituency.
We were also glad to be joined on this occasion by Minister Francis Fonseca of the Freetown Constituency and representatives of the Lake Independence Committee, showing a united front in support of youth empowerment in this community.
Together, we’re investing in educational equity and transformational support systems.
👉🏽 To our youth—this is your hub. Your space to learn, grow, and find support. We can’t wait to welcome you!
We are deeply grateful to all the hands, hearts, and partners who made this milestone possible.
