In celebration of World Oceans Day 2025, Oceana Belize led a coordinated cleanup effort along Marine Parade.

Deputy Mayor Eluide Miller, Councillor Malcolm Nunez, and Councillor Kaya Cattouse represented the Belize City Council, joining local organizations and community volunteers in this impactful initiative. The Council was pleased to participate and support efforts that align with our commitment to environmental stewardship and the protection of our marine ecosystems.

Every piece of trash removed brings us one step closer to preserving our natural environment for our communities, marine life, and future generations.
