As hurricane season rolls on, we remain vigilant and proactive. The Belize City Council’s Sanitation Team continues its commitment to keeping drains free and clear. They are working in the Teacher Street, Dungeon Drive, and Blue Marlin areas, clearing drains and outlets to help mitigate flooding and protect our neighborhoods.
These efforts go beyond routine maintenance—they reflect our city-wide commitment to safeguarding homes, families, and livelihoods. Clean waterways reduce blockages, improve drainage, and strengthen our defenses against storms.
Every cleared drain brings us one step closer to a safer, more resilient Belize City. With continued teamwork and community support, we can weather any storm—together.
