A Night of Purpose and Partnership!

Sun, 22nd June 2025

We were honored to attend the Guest Speaker Welcome Dinner in New York City  for the upcoming Friends Supporting the Anglican Diocese of Belize (FSADB) Scholarship Gala — a powerful gathering in support of our city’s students.

Joined by Councillors Kaya Cattouse and Allan Pollard, Mayor Bernard Wagner, a proud Anglican Cathedral College (ACC) alumnus, expressed his deep gratitude for being invited as this year’s Guest Speaker, and also announced his acceptance—with the blessing of Bishop Wright—as Patron of the newly launched Anglican Cathedral College Infrastructure Endowment Fund.

💼 This Endowment Fund is dedicated to the upkeep and development of ACC’s physical campus, ensuring our students have a learning environment that inspires growth, discipline, and achievement for years to come.

On behalf of the Belize City Council, the Mayor and Councillors made the Fund’s very first contribution: $10,000 BZD — a meaningful step toward sustainable, student-focused investment.

Mayor Wagner, warmly welcomed by FSADB President Claude Stuart, ACC Board Chairman Jeffrey Locke, Ambassador Carlos Fuller, Dr. Bernard Bulwer, and other passionate members of the FSADB family, reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to education, equity, and youth empowerment.

Honored to be part of this evening of intention rooted in the belief that when we invest in our students, we secure Belize’s future.
