Under the theme βUniting Women in Law Enforcement for a Safer Belize,β Cllr. Kaya Cattouse and Cllr. Stephanne Hamilton proudly attended the Womenβs Month Opening Ceremony at the invitation of the Commissioner of Police and the Belize Police Department.
Following this morningβs historic all female uniform parade through downtown Belize City conducted jointly by the Belize Police Department, Belize Coast Guard, and Belize Defence Force, the ceremony celebrated the outstanding contributions of women serving in our security forces and across our nation.
The event was further honored by the presence of Governor General H.E. Dame Froyla Tzalam, who delivered remarks celebrating the remarkable contributions and dedication of women serving in the field. .
Today we recognize and celebrate the strength, leadership, and dedication of women who continue to protect, inspire, and shape a safer Belize.
