Mayor Bernard Wagner and the Belize City Council, alongside Chief Engineer at the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH), Mr. Evondale Moody, and his team, engaged residents in a comprehensive Town Hall Meeting on major upcoming infrastructure works.

The session provided residents with an overview of the upcoming George Price Highway upgrades and the replacement of the Belcan and Swing Bridges, while also addressing what these projects will mean for daily life in the city. 🚧

Discussions focused on how traffic will be managed during construction, how businesses and commuters may be affected, and the systems being put in place to ensure residents can stay informed and raise concerns throughout the process.

The evening served as an opportunity for open dialogue, allowing residents to better understand the scope of the works ahead and the long-term improvements these projects will bring to connectivity, safety, and mobility in Belize City. 📱

We extend  thanks to everyone who attended in person and to the many residents who tuned in online to follow the livestream and stay engaged in the conversation. Your participation is vital as we continue working together to move Belize City forward. 🤝
