In observance of World Kidney Day, under the theme “Kidney Health for All – Caring for People, Protecting the Planet,” the Kidney Association of Belize hosted a special annual health fair following the first event of their annual Kidney Walk.

Councilor Javier Castellanos attended the event held at the Lions Club of Belize City, where the association continued its mission to raise awareness and educate the public about kidney disease, with a special focus this year on prevention.

As one of the sponsors supporting these activities, the Belize City Council was proud to stand alongside the Kidney Association of Belize in promoting better health and awareness for our community.
