The Father of the Nation, Rt. Hon. George Cadle Price once said, "happiness lies in serving others rather than serving oneself". And our Mayor, Belize City Councillors and Youth Shadow Councillors put that philosophy to practice today at the Lord Ridge Cemetery.
This year in honor of National Service Day, our team along with a number of selfless volunteers conducted the repainting of graves in the cemetery in an effort to beautify the area and assist those who may not be able to maintain the graves of loved ones. The Price family plots along with other surrounding graves were given due care and attention as a means of giving back to the community and to our residents. It was a day well spent and we are pleased to be a part of this movement started by one of our country's greatest national heroes.
We also want to take this opportunity to extend gratitude to ER Construction Supplies and IMASA Paints Belize for contributing to this service day effort!
