As one nation, Belizeans both at home and all over the world understand the importance of September as a month that commemorates our true identity. This would not be possible without the work of our national heroes who taught us what it means to embody the Belizean way.
To that end, joined by his city councillors, Mayor Bernard Wagner did us the honor of paying our collective respects to the late Rt. Hon. George Cadle Price, by laying a wreath at his resting place at the official ceremony commemorating the 10th anniversary of his passing and later at his memorial bust in the presence of Hon. Francis Fonseca and Councillor Albert Vaughan. We will forever show our love and gratitude to our Father of the Nation - a true pioneer of service. May we all continue to walk the path he has made for us each and every day.
