On behalf of the Belize City Council, Deputy Mayor Eluide Miller and Councillor Malcolm Nunez attended the Memorial Service and Tribute for the late Aurelio Martinez, organized by the National Institute of Culture and History at the Bliss Centre for Performing Arts.

As a city, we recognize and celebrate the immeasurable impact of Mr. Aurelio Martinez on our culture through his music. Though he may not have been born a Belizean, he proudly embraced our nation as his own. His music, spirit, and dedication left an indelible mark on our cultural landscape.

Aurelio's contributions will continue to inspire and resonate deeply within our community, ensuring that his influence lives on for generations to come.
