Mon, 15th November 2021

Congratulations, Mr. Fritz!
Today we are proud to highlight our very own Youth and Community Support Officer, Mr. Micheal Fritz, winner of the 2021 Youth Minister's for Youth Leadership and Advocacy Award. This category of the Belize Youth Awards (hosted by the Department of Youth Services) sought to acknowledge an individual who advocates, demonstrates, promotes, organizes and manages group activities in the interest of empowering young people. Mr. Fritz has certainly satisfied these criteria during his time serving Belize's youths as President of the National Committee for Families and Children.
As a member of our Programs Department, Mr. Fritz also serves as Technical Coordinator for the Sustainable Child-Friendly Municipalities Program, Program Coordinator of the Belize City Council Youth Shadow Council, and as a facilitator of the Gender Sensitization Training Program for youth and professional establishments.
Micheal had the pleasure of being presented with his award by the Minister of Youth, Sports and E-Governance, Hon. Kevin Bernard. We applaud the exemplary dedication that Micheal has to the younger generation of this country and encourage him to continue his efforts in making a difference in the lives of our Belizean children.
