The Belize City Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour, and Local Government, recently hosted an informative Town Hall Meeting to update business owners on the New Trade License Regime, set to be implemented in January 2025. 

This new regime aims to enhance five core principles: predictability, transparency, accountability, revenue neutrality, and ease of administration, all of which are designed to promote fairness across business operations.
