The 2024-2025 Youth Shadow Council has officially kicked off its journey with orientation sessions at City Hall and various Council locations. The first group of Youth Shadow Councillors had the opportunity to meet with the Mayor, Councillors, managers, and staff, gaining invaluable insight into the leadership and operations of the Council. They were also introduced to their respective Council mentors, deepening their understanding of their roles.

This is just the beginning—next week, the remaining Youth Shadow Councillors will join us as they embark on their own tours and learning experiences. Together, we are empowering the next generation to lead our city towards a brighter future!
