Belize City Council and Partners Launch 2nd Annual MENgage Trainings & Conference
In recognition of our ongoing commitment to supporting young men, the Belize City Council, in partnership with
UNICEF Belize,
Belize Leadership Intervention Unit (LIU), and
Department of Youth Services, hosted 75 young men from various schools and organizations for a series of engagement and training sessions. These sessions
focused on engaging, educating, and empowering young men who face a variety of challenges.
The training sessions addressed topics such as emotional intelligence and anger management. Guest speakers included Deputy Mayor Allan Pollard Jr., Councillor Evan Thompson, and Mr. Jermaine Hyde.
Gratitude is extended to Nazarene High School, the Anglican Cathedral College, Restore Belize, and Pathlight International Belize for their support of our mission to Engage, Educate, and Empower young men!
Our plan for 2025 is to build on the foundation established with these institutions to develop the MENgage mentorship programs through partnerships.
Let's continue to champion, support, and aid in the development of our men and boys throughout International Men's Day and beyond.
