The Launch of U-Space in Belize City

Fri, 14th February 2025

Mayor Bernard Wagner and Councillor Eluide Miller joined Hon. Francis Fonseca, Minister of Education, Culture, and Science, and Hon. Kareem Musa, Area Representative of Caribbean Shores for the exciting inauguration of Belize City's U-Space at the Leo Bradley Library. This marks the opening of a safe space for children, designed to foster innovation, creativity, and digital skills.
By providing a space where kids can access digital resources, U-Space is helping to equip the next generation with the tools they need to thrive in the digital world. It's not just about learning tech—it's about nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the power of technology and culture.
This initiative is an important step in transforming Belize City into a hub of smart, forward-thinking education, giving kids the tools to shape tomorrow’s world today.
