What an incredible day it has been with Sandra, our Mayor for a Day!

After a busy morning, she returned to City Hall where she had the pleasure of meeting staff from various departments. Sandra then joined Mayor Wagner, Youth Shadow Mayor Sanaa Rowland, Councillor with responsibility of the Youth Portfolio, Malcolm Nunez, Communications Director Erin Miller, and Programs Manager Micheal Fritz for a lively lunch. Sandra later wrapped up her day with a deeper insight into the youth-driven initiatives the Council proudly champions, such as the Youth Shadow Council and the Child Advisory Body of Belize City. She even expressed her excitement to join our Youth Shadow Council Cohort! It was an absolute pleasure having Sandra with us at the Belize City Council! Connecting with young minds and hearing their fresh perspectives on the challenges facing our city is always inspiring. Their ideas spark creativity and help us find innovative solutions to improve our community. Thank you all for staying tuned in to Sandra’s journey as Mayor of Belize City!
