Strengthening Our Legal Team: A Commitment to Professional Growth

To further strengthen the legal team at the Belize City Council Municipal Court, our prosecutors and court coordinator participated in an intensive four-day workshop focused on Trial Preparation and Advocacy. The training provided valuable hands-on experience through mock sessions that covered labor, criminal, and civil matters.

The workshop brought together professionals from various government agencies and statutory bodies, and was facilitated by former Mayor, lawyer and UWI Lecturer Mr. Darrel Bradley, with Magistrate Margaret McKenzie presiding. At the conclusion of the program, participants were awarded certificates of achievement in recognition of their commitment to professional development.

The Belize City Council remains dedicated to equipping our staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold justice and effectively serve our community.
