While in Taiwan for the 2025 Smart City Summit & Expo, Mayor Bernard Wagner and the Belize City Council delegation had the exciting opportunity to visit the Intelligent Transportation Center of Kaohsiung City— a hub of cutting-edge mobility innovation!

From smart parking systems to AI-powered traffic management and multi-modal transport integration, the team explored how Kaohsiung is using technology to make transportation more efficient, safe, and sustainable for its residents.

This knowledge exchange is timely and valuable as we continue to strengthen Belize City’s own smart mobility journey, including our growing eMobility Pilot Project and future plans for traffic and transport transformation.
