Safety Starts Young!

Tue, 25th March 2025

As a part of the Belize City Council's Enforcement Education Awareness Initiative, our Enforcement Officers visited James Garbutt Preschool, Belize Elementary School, and Central Christian Preschool to educate the students about road safety. Through fun and interactive activities, the children learned basic but important lessons like how to look both ways before crossing the street, the meaning of traffic signs, and how to stay safe as pedestrians.
Teaching road safety at an early age builds awareness and responsibility, helping children grow into cautious pedestrians and future drivers. This initiative is a step towards creating a safer community!
A big thank you to the Preschools for welcoming our Enforcement Officers and making this experience so memorable! Let’s continue to work together to ensure safety becomes second nature to our children.
