Mayor Bernard Wagner represented Belize City at the GPSC Mayorsโ€™ Roundtable, where he delivered his intervention during the session on Driving Low Carbon Transformation. He highlighted Belize Cityโ€™s progress in advancing eMobility as part of our sustainable urban development agenda. โšก๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฟ
He reaffirmed the cityโ€™s commitment to reducing carbon emissions through inclusive and resilient urban transportation, a journey that earned Belize City recognition as a finalist in the 2025 Local Leaders Awards.
Mayor Wagner was joined by Mayor Wally Nรบรฑez of San Pedro and Chairman Warren Garbutt of Placencia, as they engaged with mayors and city leaders from across the region to share experiences and shape the next generation of sustainable and climate-resilient cities.
