All Belize City Council Employees Back on Full Pay

The Belize City Council is pleased to inform that as of today, July 15, full-salaried payments have resumed for all members of staff as promised. Through the collective efforts of our entire Belize City
Council team, not only have we been navigating through the throes of a pandemic with no staff
terminations, but we have successfully provided uninterrupted services to our residents.

By analyzing the current economic, social and unemployment crises that our country is facing, we acknowledge
that this is no easy feat and it certainly would not have been possible without the dedication and sacrifice of our BCC family.

We therefore issue an outpour of gratitude to our staff, our administration, and of course to our treasured residents who have stood and worked with us throughout this process. Our employees will also be
receiving the first installment of their deferred salaries in the upcoming pay cycle, and we will continue
to explore prudent practices to safeguard the livelihoods of our workers at all costs.
