Mayor Bernard Wagner had the pleasure of attending the inauguration ceremony of the Holy Redeemer Credit Union new annex building where he was invited to be one of the guest speakers. As the Mayor expressed in his remarks on behalf of the Belize City Council, it is a joy to see institutions continuing to grow and thrive despite the ongoing hardships brought on by a year of stagnation due to the pandemic. We are proud to witness what was a credit union that began with a investment of only 75 cents grow to be one of the largest credit unions in Belize who continue to lead the movement.
We congratulate the HRCU for providing 77 years of service as they carry on to deliver quality financial services to their member-owners and foster fiscal soundness in order to make a difference in the lives of our residents. We look forward to continue collaborating for the enhancement of Belize City and take great pride in knowing that our Municipality is still on it's way to realizing it's true potential!
