Mayor Bernard Wagner Invited as Guest Speaker at the 2021 Public Service Awards

Mayor Wagner recently represented the Belize City Council as a guest speaker at the 2021 Public Service Awards. In honor of our Public Officers who have completed 25 years of Service, Mayor Wagner shared his sentiments of gratitude in a welcome address saying to our public service men and women:

"Over the years, you have remained unwavering in your call to service, and while the journey, like most journeys, may have had the occasional hiccups along the way, I am fortified that the hearts of our public servants are in the right place. I am reinvigorated knowing that our public servants are committed to the goals and ideals of good governance, transparency, accountability and one mixed with a pledge to decency and country first."

The Belize City Council too congratulates all those awarded for their dedication to our city and our country at large. We continue to encourage all Public Sector employees to carry on the work of the people and pledge our support in answering the call to service.
