Deputy Mayor Allan Pollard was present to witness history today as Belize City's very own Bryton Codd signed a professional contract to play volleyball with the Perungan Pojat team. The entire Belize City Council congratulates this ambitious young athlete for being the first Belizean in history to be contracted to play professionally in Europe. We know that Mr. Codd will represent our municipality and our country to the best of his abilities and we wish him nothing but success and prosperity in his career.
