The Belize City Council continues to take all measures to ensure that our staff is diversified and fully trained in emergency preparedness and mitigation. Per our annual schedule of activities, we have enrolled members of our staff in a Basic First Aid Training certification course. This seeks to give our employees the skill and confidence to step in and help when an emergency occurs, thus creating a safer working environment for all. We would like to extend our gratitude to Mr. Javier Canul, EMT with paramedic training and Lead Instructor at ABC Life Support for his continuous support in providing these well developed programs for the development of our work force.
