IT'S A WRAP!
As a testament to the Council’s recurring commitment to the engagement of this municipality’s most precious resource, our youth, the Belize City Council through a partnership with our very own Child Advisory Body of Belize City and assistance from various partners ensured that some one hundred and fifty (150) youths had an opportunity to participate in positive and innovative sessions which were meant to empower them to become leaders in the fields of financial literacy, communications, arts, sports, and entrepreneurship via the Youth Innovation Incubator Summer Program.
In tandem with this summer initiative, the Belize City Council spearheaded the Digi Park & Playground rejuvenation project which enlisted ten (10) community-minded youths to give the bedrock of the Newtown Barracks community a necessary facelift through our summer work program.
To close off both initiatives, Mayor Wagner, Deputy Mayor, Councillors and the Belize City Council team hosted its Summer Program Closing Ceremony this week to recognize the accomplishments of the summer program participants.
Gratitude is extended to the Council's partners who support our goal to serve the residents of this great municipality through youth inclusion and empowerment. Such sponsors include:

National Institute for Culture & History
