The Belize City Council’s Traffic Department has officially upgraded its ID system with a brand new ID printer featuring advanced security laminate—a major step forward in our fight against counterfeiting.
This new technology means Belize City-issued driver’s licenses are now more secure, tamper-resistant, and much harder to replicate, reinforcing our continued commitment to transparency, accountability, and public trust.
We remain committed to modernizing our services to better serve the residents of Belize City. It’s all part of building a smarter, safer Belize City.
