Today the Belize City Council’s CEMO Unit, in collaboration with the Belize Fire Department held a training session to review the council’s Emergency Response Plan. This session focused on fast and effective response to fire hazards along with safe and quick evacuation routes. The Belize Fire Department Fire Safety Unit also provided a short tutorial on the proper use of fire extinguishers all in an effort to ensure our staff has access to all necessary information if faced with an emergency situation. As usual, the safety of our staff remains of utmost importance.
We extend a special thank you to Mrs. Rubio of the Fire Safety Unit as well as our CEMO Liaison Officer Melony Dawson for being a part of and assisting in this training.
