Today, Mayor Wagner and the Belize City Council congratulate H.E. Froyla Tzalam on her historic appointment as the new Governor General of Belize. As our country's third Governor General and the first Indigenous-American female Governor General in the Commonwealth, we recognize and appreciate the impact that Her Excellency will have on our country throughout her tenure. We wish Mrs. Tzalam nothing but success in her endeavors and extend our full support on behalf of our Municipality.
