It has been a celebration of parenthood this past week at the Belize City Hall. In honor of the recent Mother's Day and Father's Day celebrations, the Belize City Council partnered with local business owners and various sponsors to provide tokens of appreciation to ten fathers and ten mothers from the various constituencies in our city.
Through this collaboration we were able to honor these exemplary figures who dedicate their energies into nurturing their family and keeping their households running. While we could not reward all mothers and fathers, the Belize City Council commends all citizens who sacrifice on a daily basis to invest in the proper care and support of our children.
