This week we were able to bid a congratulatory farewell to the first cohort of young leaders who successfully completed the Belize City Council Youth Shadow Council Program. Deputy Mayor Allan Pollard was pleased to host the Shadow Councillors at a celebratory dinner wherein he shared some advice for their future endeavors as they take the next step in their professional careers. These 11 young visionaries showed their determination and creativity throughout the program, and we are eager to see the contributions they will be making to our city and our country in the years to come.
