Belize City Council Continues to Remove Derelict Vehicles Across the City

Mon, 12th July 2021

Your Belize City Council continues to fulfill our mandate to remove derelict vehicles across the city for the health and safety of all residents. These efforts would not be successful if not for the continued efforts of our Public Health Unit, our Works Department, our Traffic Department, our Sanitation Department, our Public Relations Department, our Internal Audit Department and the Belize Police Department. We have also been able to continue with the trimming and cleaning of the shoulders of various intersections along Faber's Road and repainting pedestrian crossings. We continue to urge our residents to report any derelict vehicle sightings and to take necessary measures if a derelict vehicle is in their possession so that we can address the matter in a timely fashion. You can contact our complaint line at (501) 280-4014 or message us on WhatsApp at (501) 673-9055 for more information or to report derelict vehicles. Thank you to all who have complied and cooperated thus far. The work continues!
