As we approach Belize's 40th anniversary of independence, your Belize City Council is contributing in creating a greener Belize for our children and future  generations. Our tree planting initiative is symbolic and speaks to promoting a greener environment. That is why our very own Mayor Bernard Wagner, Councillors, members of the Youth Shadow Council and youths from our Child Advisory Body (CAB)  all took part in the National Celebration Commission's Belize @ 40 Culture and Environment Campaign.
Through this initiative, 40 trees of various species were planted throughout the city in an effort to promote environmental stability and make adequate use of our green spaces. We are proud to have contributed in an initiative that breathes more life and beauty into our city while making a long-term environmental impact!
