In preparation for the 2024-2025 school year, 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫, the Belize City Council, and the Child Advisory Body Belize City proudly coordinated the 3rd Annual Primary School Donation Ceremony at the House of Culture in Belize City. This event allowed the Council to provide essential cleaning supplies, sanitization items, and backpack vouchers to the principals of 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐲-𝐨𝐧𝐞 (𝟑𝟏) 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 across Belize City.

These donations are targeted to benefit students who will gain the most from this support, ensuring that resources are allocated to those who can truly maximize their educational opportunities.

This gesture underscores the Council's firm belief in every child's right to education, as outlined in 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝟐𝟖 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐍 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 and aligned with 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝟒. The Belize City Council is committed to providing the necessary resources for every child's success.
