Independence Primary Tour City Hall - A Step Towards Empowering Future Leaders

Big smiles and bright ideas lit up City Hall as we welcomed the enthusiastic students of Independence Primary School from the Stann Creek District! These eager young minds had the opportunity to learn about the role and functions of the Belize City Council while exploring various departments.

As a Council, we are dedicated to bridging the gap between youth and governance through educational initiatives like these. These tours not only provide a deeper understanding of how local government works but also inspire the next generation to actively engage in shaping the future.

A huge thank you to Independence Primary School for joining us and showing such great interest in the work we do. We hope this exciting visit not only provided a glimpse behind the scenes but also sparked their passion to become future changemakers in their communities.
