As stewards of our citizenry, the Belize City Council does our best to ensure end-to-end service to our residents. In December 2020 and February 2021, we were fortunate to be able to provide Ms. Oriemay Evans and Mrs. Merline King respectively, with new homes thanks to the help of our collaborators.
Now that Hurricane Season 2021 has commenced, we've taken additional steps to ensure that our benefactors' homes and property will remain safe during the season.
Thanks to Mr. Duffy Nunez Sr, Mr. Duffy Nunez Jr.  and the Insurance Corporation of Belize (ICB), Ms. Evans and Mrs. King have been provided with one full year of insurance coverage against hurricanes and fires, free of cost effective today, June 1st, 2021.
Through these efforts we aim to safeguard the lives of multiple families and ensure that those most in need in our communities can rest assured that the Belize City Council will always do our best to serve our residents.
