As a part of the Belize City Council's commitment to youth development and leadership, we've recently introduced our new Youth Shadow Council cohort to the first of a number of Capacity Development sessions. Ms. Eleanor Murillo of the National Women’s Commission has partnered with us to facilitate an introduction to gender, gender sensitization, and domestic violence as it pertains to social policies.
Much like our elected officials, we take all measures to ensure that our youth arm is versed in public policies that will mold them into the best future leaders for our city and our country.
