The Belize City Council strives to create an inclusive, safe, and accessible city for all our residents. In an effort to make public buildings more accessible to citizens living with disabilities, we met with our partners at the Ministry of Human Development and committed to this goal by agreeing to install new handicap parking signs in various areas of the city.
Today we share with the public that a number of these signs have been installed and we are scheduled to introduce more signs throughout the city as the week progresses.
